how to cook Baked Cheese Ham Tomatoes?
STEP 1
To begin, preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Then slice the tomatoes into three equal parts.

Cut the cheese into square pieces.
STEP 3
Then cut the ham into thin slices.
TIPS: If you’re not a fan of ham, you can easily substitute it with smoked or boiled sausage according to your preference.

Next, chop the green onions into 5 cm segments.

Place them in a pot of boiling salted water for approximately 2 minutes.
STEP 6
Once the green onions have slightly softened, remove them from the water. Rinse with cold water, and pat dry.
TIPS: Don’t forget to rinse the green onions with cold water. This step is crucial to halt the heat treatment process. And to stop the cooking process as well.
STEP 7
Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil and place the bottom part of the tomato in it. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over the tomato. Layer a slice of ham and cheese on top, followed by the prepared green onions.

Baked Cheese Ham Tomatoes
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes – 8 pcs. (700 g)
- Ham – 1/2 pack (250 g)
- Cheese – 3/4 pack (150 g)
- Green onion – 1/2 bunch (50 g)
- Salt – 1/6 tsp. (1 g)
- Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)
Cooking steps:
- Cut the tomatoes crosswise into 3 parts. Cut the cheese into squares. Cut the ham into slices.
- Cut the green onions into 5 cm pieces. Place in salted boiling water for 2 minutes. When the green onions become slightly soft, remove, rinse with cold water, and dry.
- Place the bottom part of the tomato in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil, add salt and pepper. Top with a slice of ham and cheese, and add prepared green onions.
- Cover with a second slice of tomato, salt and pepper again, then add ham, cheese, green onions, and cover with the tomato lid on top. Secure the structure with a toothpick. Repeat with remaining tomatoes.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 15 minutes. Cool slightly.
