how to cook Quick Instant Yeast Homemade Bread?

STEP 1

Let’s get baking! Start by preheating your oven to 200°C (400⁰F). Then, combine the flour and salt in a large bowl.

TIPS: if you’re short on time or just prefer convenience, you can use ready-made frozen dough instead of making your own yeast dough. Just make sure to defrost it ahead of time, following the instructions on the package.

STEP 2

In a separate bowl, mix warm water and warm milk.

TIPS: Don’t overheat the milk – it should be warmed just above body temperature.

STEP 3

Add dry yeast, sugar, vegetable oil, and whisk together.

TIPS: When it comes to dry instant yeast, freshness is key for the best results. Aim to use yeast that’s as fresh as possible, ideally within six months of its production date. This way, you’ll ensure your baked goods rise to perfection every time.

TIPS: Adding a little bit of sugar or honey will help feed the yeast and promote fermentation.

STEP 4

After that place the flour mixture into the bowl of your planetary mixer.

STEP 5

Next, pour the wet mixture into the bowl of a planetary mixer with the flour.

STEP 6

Knead the dough at medium speed for 3-5 minutes until well combined.

TIPS: As you knead the dough, be patient and allow it to develop its gluten structure for a light and fluffy texture.

STEP 7

After kneading, shape the dough into a ball.

STEP 8

Cover the bowl with a cling film. Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for 45-50 minutes until it doubles in size.

TIPS: If you want your yeast dough to rise perfectly, aim for an ideal temperature of 25-27°C (77°F-80°F).

TIPS: If you don’t have cling film, a clean kitchen towel can be used to cover the dough.

STEP 9

Once the dough has risen, remove it from the bowl of your planetary mixer.
