Easy Tomato Chicken Breast Stew


  • Onions – 2 pcs. (250 g)
  • Red onions – 1 pc. (120 g)
  • Chicken breast fillet – 1 pc. (400 g)
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp. (3 g)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)
  • Ground red pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. (14 g)
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp. (36 g)
  • Water – 2/5 cup (100 g)


  • Dill

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut onions and red onions into half rings.
  2. Then cut the chicken breast fillet into large pieces.
  3. Coarsely chop the dill.
  4. Place chopped chicken breast in a medium bowl, add salt, red and black pepper, add 1 tbsp. (18 g) of the tomato paste, add vegetable oil, mix well.
  5. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan heated over medium heat. Place chopped onion in it, pour in water, add the remaining tomato paste, mix well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan heated over medium heat. Place chicken breast in it and lightly fry. Add onion mixture, mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 7-10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped dill and serve with mashed potatoes.
