  • Milk – 1/3 cup (83 g)
  • Plums – 10 pcs. (300 g)

for the syrup

  • Water – 2 tbsp. (30 g)
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup (100 g)
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 sachet (10 g)

additionally

  • Walnuts, coarsely chopped

Cooking steps:

  1. Wash the plums, cut them in half lengthwise, remove the pits.

Dough

  1. Put flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt to a medium bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Place softened butter in a large bowl, add sugar, beat with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, mix thoroughly.
  3. Gradually add half of the flour mixture to the egg-butter mixture, then pour in the milk. Add the remaining half of the flour mixture, and mix with a mixer at low speed until smooth.
