how to cook Easy Breakfast Blueberry Cake?

STEP 1

To begin, Preheat your oven to 180°C (350⁰F). Then, combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl, and stir the ingredients together.

STEP 2

Next, take a large bowl and place softened butter in it. Add sugar and beat the mixture with a mixer at medium speed until it becomes creamy.

TIPS: If your butter is too hard, a few seconds in the microwave can soften it up and make it easier to whip.

TIPS: Instead of using butter, you can opt for good quality margarine. It works just as well! But keep in mind that margarine contains salt. So, you might want to reduce the amount of salt in the recipe. Just a little heads up!

STEP 3

Now, add the eggs one at a time to the sugar-butter mixture, ensuring thorough mixing after each addition.

STEP 4

Gradually add the flour mixture into the egg-butter mixture, using a mixer at low speed until the dough becomes smooth.

STEP 5

Moving on, take a medium bowl and place completely thawed blueberries in it. Add sugar to the berries.

TIPS: If you don’t have frozen blueberries, fresh ones can be a fantastic alternative. They’ll add a burst of flavor to your recipe and give it a delightful twist.
