Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes – 7 pcs. (1 kg)
  • Onions – 1 pc. (130 g)
  • Mixed minced meat – 3/4 pack (300 g)
  • Ricotta – 1/2 pack (125 g)
  • Parsley – 1/2 bunch (25 g)
  • Dill – 1/2 bunch (25 g)
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp. (45 g)
  • Water – 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • Salt – 1/3 tsp. (2 g)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut off the top of each tomato so as to cut off the “lid”. Carefully remove the tomato pulp, being careful not to damage the vegetables. Cut half the tomato pulp into cubes.
  2. Cut the onion into cubes. Cut ricotta into cubes. Finely chop the parsley and dill.
  3. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan heated over high heat. Place chopped onion in it and fry for 5 minutes. Add the minced meat, continue cooking until crumbly, then add the tomato pulp.
  4. Place the resulting filling into a large bowl, add chopped ricotta and chopped herbs. Season with salt and ground black pepper, mix well.
  5. Place the pulpless tomatoes in a oil greased baking tin. Fill with prepared filling. Brush each stuffed tomato with sour cream on top.
  6. Pour 1/2 cup (125 g) of water into the baking tray with tomatoes. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for 30-40 minutes. Cool slightly.
  7. Sprinkle the finished tomatoes with chopped dill.
