  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp. (3 g)
  • Salt – 1/6 tsp. (1 g)
  • Buttermilk – 3/5 cup (150 g)
  • Melted butter – 3 tbsp. (42 g)
  • Frozen strawberries – 1/2 cup (100 g)
  • Frozen raspberries – 1/4 cup (50 g)
  • Frozen blueberries – 1/4 cup (50 g)

  • Powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut slightly thawed strawberries in half lengthwise.
  2. Put flour, salt and baking soda to a medium bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Place the egg in a large bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar, beat with a mixer into a fluffy pale mass.
  4. Gradually add half of the flour mixture to the egg-sugar mixture, then pour in half of the buttermilk, add the remaining half of the flour mixture, pour in the melted butter. Mix with a mixer at low speed until smooth.
  5. Pour the finished dough into a thin layer into two 30cm x 25cm pre-greased and floured baking sheets. Level the top with a spatula. Arrange blueberries, strawberries and raspberries evenly on top.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400⁰F) for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve the finished cakes warm or at room temperature, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and decorate with whipped cream.
