Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs – 2 pcs. (100 g)
  • Green onions – 1/2 bunch (50 g)
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp. (1 pinch)

  • Eggs – 1 pc. (50 g)
  • Water – 1 tsp. (5 g)
  • Sesame

Cooking steps:

  1. Lightly beat the egg with a whisk, add water and stir.

Filling

  1. Cut green onions into rings, boiled eggs into cubes.
  2. Place chopped green onions in a medium bowl, add boiled eggs and grated cheese, add salt and mix.

Dough

  1. Place the yeast puff pastry, thawed according to the instructions on the package, on a lightly floured surface and roll out into a 30cm x 25cm rectangle.
  2. Cut the resulting rectangle with a knife into 6 strips 25 cm long and 5 cm wide.

Assembly

  1. Distribute the prepared filling evenly onto each strip. Connect opposite sides of each strip, seal well, and roll into a spiral in a circle, starting from the center. Form 3 pies.
  2. Place the resulting pies on a baking sheet pre-lined with parchment paper. Leave in a warm place for 20 minutes, brush with egg mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  3. Place the baking sheet with the pies in an oven preheated to 175⁰C (350⁰F) and immediately reduce the temperature to 150°C (300⁰F), bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Remove the finished pies from the oven and cool slightly.
