  • Mozzarella balls – 1 package (100 g)
  • Basil – 1/4 bunch (13 g)

for the marinade

  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. (28 g)
  • Dried garlic – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)
  • Dried Provençal herbs – 1/2 tsp. (1 g)
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp. (1 pinch)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/8 tsp. (1 pinch)

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut the basil leaves in half lengthwise.


  1. Add black pepper, salt, dried garlic and herbes de Provence to a small bowl. Pour in vegetable oil, mix thoroughly.
  2. Place the mozzarella balls in a medium bowl and pour over the marinade. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes.


  1. Thread tomato, basil, mozzarella in marinade, basil and tomato again onto a skewer. Repeat with remaining 11 skewers until ingredients are gone.
