Tomato Mozzarella Pesto Caprese Pasta

Ingredients:

  • Fusilli (spiral pasta) – 1/3 pack (150 g)
  • Mozzarella balls – 1 package (100 g)
  • Tomatoes – 16 pcs. (200 g)

for the sauce

  • Parsley – 1/4 bunch (12 g)
  • Dill – 1/4 bunch (12 g)
  • Sunflower seeds – 3 tbsp. (27 g)
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. (42 g)
  • Balsamic sauce – 1 tsp. (5 g)
  • Dried garlic – 2/3 tsp. (2 g)
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp. (1 pinch)

Cooking steps:

  1. Prepare spiral pasta according to package instructions and let cool.
  2. Coarsely chop the tomatoes. Cut each ball of mozzarella in half lengthwise.

Sauce

  1. Coarsely chop the dill and parsley. Place dill and parsley in a medium bowl, add sunflower seeds, add salt and dried garlic, stir.
  2. Pour in vegetable oil and balsamic sauce, mix well. Place the resulting mixture in the bowl of a food processor and grind well.

Assembly
