STEP 2

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Stir these ingredients together thoroughly.

  • Egg – 1 pc. (50 g)
  • Salt – 1/6 tsp. (1 g)
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp. (5 g)
  • Apple juice – 1/5 cup (50 g)
  • Vegetable oil – 1/3 cup (75 g)
  • Ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp. (1 g)
  • Apples – 2 pcs. (250 g)

  • Powdered sugar

Cooking steps:

  1. Peel one apple, remove seeds, cut into small cubes. Remove the seeds from the second apple and cut it into slices.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon to a medium bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Place eggs in a large bowl, add sugar, beat with a mixer into a fluffy pale mass.
  4. Gradually add half of the flour mixture to the egg-sugar mixture, then pour in milk and apple juice. Add the remaining half of the flour mixture, add vegetable oil, mix with a mixer at low speed until smooth. Add apple pieces to the resulting dough and mix gently.
  5. Place the paper cups into a muffin tin, fill 3/4 with the resulting dough, and place apple slices on top.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350⁰F) for 25-30 minutes. Place the muffins on a wire rack and let cool slightly.
  7. Sprinkle the finished muffins with powdered sugar and serve warm or at room temperature.
