Now, grab a pan and fill it with some water, salt and bring to boil. Toss in the cauliflower florets and let them boil away for about 10 minutes.

Once the cauliflower is nice and tender, transfer it to a small bowl and mash it up into a smooth puree.

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower – 1/3 pcs. (300 g)
  • Grated cheese – 1/2 cup (50 g)
  • Eggs – 1 pc. (50 g)
  • Dried garlic – 1/6 tsp. (1/2 g)
  • Pitted balck olives – 10 pcs. (30 g)
  • Salt – 1/6 tsp. (1 g)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)

  • Cabbage leaves
  • Ground paprika

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut the black olives into rings.
  2. Divide the cauliflower into florets. Place in a pan with salted boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl and mash into a puree.
  3. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan heated over high heat. Add cauliflower puree and fry for 5 minutes. Add the black olives, cover the pan with a lid and leave for another 5 minutes.
  4. Place the resulting mixture in a medium bowl, add eggs and grated cheese, add dried garlic, salt and black pepper, stir.
  5. Place cabbage leaves in boiling water for a few seconds. When the leaves become slightly soft, remove and rinse with cold water. Cut out the veins from the leaves.
  6. Line two greased baking dishes with a diameter of 14 cm with cabbage leaves and fill with the resulting filling. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the finished casserole with ground paprika.
