The key to achieving a tasty and aromatic zucchini, as per this recipe, lies in thinly slicing them.

However, be careful not to cut all the way through, leaving about half a centimeter at the bottom.

To make this task easier, I recommend using limiters placed on both sides of the zucchini.

This way, the knife will reach the limiter and prevent any accidental mishaps of cutting the zucchini completely.

Once you have these thinly sliced zucchinis ready, it’s time to coat them with my homemade sauce and bake them in the oven.

The high temperatures will cause the cuts on the vegetables to open up, allowing you to stuff them with grated cheese and bacon bits.

Alternatively, you can simply sprinkle these “accordions” with cheese and bake them until the cheese melts, resulting in a deliciously aromatic dish.

Whether as a hearty side dish or even as a main course, this Zucchini Hasselback is sure to impress your family and friends at your next gathering!
