how to cook Easy Milk Chocolate Fudge?

To start, grease a 20cm x 20cm square baking tin with some vegetable oil. Then, line it with cling film for easy removal later.

Next, coarsely chop the milk chocolate into small pieces.

TIPS: If you’re a fan of dark chocolate, here’s a little tip for you. Instead of using milk chocolate, go for the dark one. It will give your fudge a richer and more intense chocolate flavor. On the other hand, if you prefer a softer and sweeter fudge, try using milk or white chocolate.

In a large saucepan, pour the sweetened condensed milk and add the sugar and diced butter.

Place the pan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens. Once it reaches the desired consistency, remove it from the heat.

TIPS: When making this mixture, make sure to stir it constantly. If you don’t, it might burn and stick to the bottom of the pan. Nobody wants that!

Now, add the chopped chocolate to the hot mixture and stir quickly until it completely dissolves. This will give your fudge a smooth and creamy texture.

Pour the resulting mixture into the prepared tin and swiftly smooth the top using a silicone spatula. It’s important to work quickly here to ensure a neat finish.

TIPS: Now, pay attention to this one. Fudge hardens really quickly, so you need to work fast. Don’t dilly-dally, or you’ll end up with a rock-hard fudge in no time.

To add a decorative touch, place the chocolate egg halves on top of the fudge mixture, with the cut side facing down. This will create a visually appealing presentation.

TIPS: Last but not least, be careful with the temperature of your fudge. If it’s too hot, those cute little chocolate eggs might just melt away. And we definitely don’t want that to happen!
