- Ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp. (1 g)
- Greek yogurt – 1/3 cup (83 g)
- Milk – 1 tbsp. (15 g)
- Chilled butter – 1/4 cup (60 g)
for the filling
- Butter – 1 tbsp. (14 g)
- Apples – 7 pcs. (500 g)
- Sugar – 1/3 cup (67 g)
- Frozen blackberries – 1/2 cup (100 g)
additionally
- Almond flakes
- Powdered sugar
Cooking steps:
Filling
- Peel the apples, remove the seeds, cut into slices.
- Place butter in a large saucepan and melt over medium heat. Add apples, add sugar, stir and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add the blackberries, cook for another 1 minute, then remove from the heat.
Dough
- Put the flour in a medium bowl and add the cooled butter cut into cubes. Grind the mixture until it becomes crumbly.
- Add sugar, ground cinnamon, baking powder and salt to the butteer flour mixture and stir. Add yogurt, pour in milk, mix thoroughly.
Assembly
- Pour the cooled filling into a pre-greased 22cm round baking dish.
- Spread the resulting dough in heaps on top of the fruit and berry filling with a spoon. Sprinkle with almond flakes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400⁰F) for 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar.
