Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

  • Pork tenderloin (fillet) – 1 pc. (600 g)
  • Dried garlic – 1 tsp. (3 g)
  • Ground paprika – 1/2 tsp. (1 g)
  • Dried marjoram – 1/3 tsp. (1/2 g)
  • Salt – 1/3 tsp. (2 g)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp. (1 g)
  • Champignons – 4 pcs. (200 g)
  • Onions – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Cheese – 1/2 pack (100 g)
  • Bacon strips – 6 pcs. (120 g)

Cooking steps:

  1. Put garlic, paprika and marjoram into a small bowl, add salt and black pepper, stir.
  2. Make a deep cut across all the pork tenderloin but try not to cut it through. Sprinkle the meat with the spicy mixture on both sides.
  3. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Cut the onion into cubes.
  4. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan heated over medium heat. Place chopped onion in it and fry for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, fry for another 3 minutes, stir. Then add chopped garlic, salt and mix. Cool completely.
  5. Cut the cheese into slices.
  6. Place two large sheets of foil crosswise and cover them with a sheet of parchment paper on top. Arrange the bacon strips and top them with the seasoned pork tenderloin.
  7. Carefully place the mushroom filling into the cut in the meat and place slices of cheese on top. Wrap the pork tenderloin in bacon strips, then wrap it in parchment paper and foil. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for 30 minutes. Unwrap and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for another 10 minutes.
